I believe one of the most valuable investments we can make is in ourselves. Seeking therapy is a meaningful step toward growth, healing, and building a life that feels more aligned with who you are and what you want. Whether you are navigating the stressors of daily life, experiencing overwhelming emotions, struggling to understand or communicate your feelings, or working through patterns of behavior that no longer serve you, we can work collaboratively to identify your goals and take intentional steps toward achieving them. I prioritize creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable exploring your experiences openly. A strong therapeutic relationship is central to the work we do, and I strive to foster a space where you feel both understood and appropriately challenged. My approach is empathetic yet direct—I will validate your experiences while also helping you build insight, develop new perspectives, and take actionable steps toward change. I work primarily with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and eating disorders. My approach is integrative, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and psychodynamic interventions. This allows me to tailor treatment to your unique needs, whether that involves building coping skills, processing past experiences, improving emotional regulation, or addressing underlying patterns that contribute to distress. My goal is to empower you with the tools, insight, and confidence needed not only to meet your goals but to sustain progress over time. Therapy is not just about symptom relief—it is about creating lasting change, improving overall functioning, and helping you feel more in control of your life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, we will begin to identify your reasons for coming to therapy and the goals you would like to attain throughout this process. This is a collaborative effort and I am ready to work on issues at a pace that is comfortable for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients often tell me that I’m easy to talk to and that they feel comfortable opening up, even early on. I really value creating a space where you can be yourself without feeling judged, and where sharing your story feels a little less overwhelming. I’m genuinely passionate about the work I do, and I think that comes through in how I show up—with care, consistency, and a real desire to understand you and your experience. I do my best to meet you where you are, without pressure, while still helping you move toward where you want to be. I also take a flexible approach to therapy. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model, so I draw from a variety of tools and strategies to fit your unique needs, perspective, and goals. My aim is for therapy to feel collaborative, practical, and meaningful to you.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with clients who are struggling with intense emotions, patterns that feel hard to break, or a sense of feeling stuck in their lives. This includes individuals who may have tried therapy before and found it wasn’t the right fit or didn’t lead to the change they were hoping for. Whether you are dealing with trauma, anxiety, eating concerns, or mood-related challenges, I provide a supportive and structured space to help you feel more grounded, understood, and capable of creating lasting change.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients in developing effective skills for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. I also utilize coaching and collaborative problem-solving to help clients generalize skills outside of session, often reviewing real-life situations to reinforce skill use. Throughout treatment, I maintain a balance of validation and accountability, supporting clients in feeling understood while also encouraging progress toward their identified goals.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

I utilize Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) as an evidence-based intervention for trauma-related disorders, as it directly targets the maladaptive cognitions that maintain posttraumatic distress. I use CPT because it provides a clear, skills-based framework that promotes both insight and measurable progress. It allows clients to process trauma without requiring detailed retelling of the traumatic event. CPT supports clients in developing more balanced and adaptive beliefs, improving overall functioning and quality of life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a foundational, evidence-based approach to address a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral dysregulation. CBT empowers clients with concrete strategies to reduce distress, improve coping, and enhance overall functioning.

Motivational Interviewing

This approach allows me to meet clients where they are in the change process by exploring their values, goals, and discrepancies between current behaviors and desired outcomes and typically results in more sustainable change.

Psychodynamic

I utilize Psychodynamic Therapy to help clients gain insight into how unconscious processes, early life experiences, and relational patterns influence their current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I use psychodynamic interventions to facilitate deeper self-understanding, strengthen emotional processing, and promote lasting change rather than solely symptom reduction.
