New clients continue care with this provider

Hello! My name is Gabby! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in California. I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California and have been practicing clinical work for 5 years. During the past 5 years, I have worked with clients dealing with anxiety, stress, and various life changes. I aim to support adults in navigating everyday challenges and discovering a sense of purpose.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our initial session, we will take the time to get to know each other through introductions and addressing any questions you might have. I will ask open-ended questions to understand your reasons for seeking treatment, and based on your responses, I will develop a personalized treatment plan. I am committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space for you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

With five years of clinical experience, I have become more attuned to the daily struggles people face. I’ve developed skills in cultural competence and empathy, allowing me to treat each individual with care and respect.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with adults of all ages who sometimes feel that anxiety, stress, or life changes are hindering their happiness. Being part of their journey to rediscover their passions is truly fulfilling for me.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

For the past five years, I’ve incorporated Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into my practice. I've witnessed clients successfully overcome their worries, stress, and fears through this approach. I will provide psychoeducation to help you understand the root causes of your anxiety, as well as the connections between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and how to recognize patterns. Through CBT, you'll acquire various skills, including relaxation techniques, stress management, and strategies to enhance your overall mood.
