(she/her)
I am passionate about helping people find meaning and purpose in their lives, and helping them identify ways that conscious and unconscious traits and habits impact functioning and relationships. By exploring how you relate to yourself and to the world around you, you can build a life that is informed by past experience, not trapped by it. As a trained meditation teacher I integrate mindfulness and other meditation techniques where appropriate. My trauma work is integrative. While I do not condone the use of controlled substances, I endorse harm reduction practices and enjoy working with psychedelic preparation and integration.
In our first session I will get to know a little about you background and what brings you to therapy at this time. You will have an opportunity to ask questions about the therapeutic process and what you can expect in the future.
My greatest strength as a therapist is creating an environment of gentle curiosity while we work through the process of understanding and change.
I am eager to work with you if you are ready to understand yourself and to begin the process of change.
Psychodynamic
I enjoy working with clients to understand the unconscious patterns that govern their lives, as well as the ways in which the past is influencing the present.
