LICSW, 5 years of experience
New to Grow
Hi, I’m Nicole – a Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with 5 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion, clarity, and evidence-based care. I specialize in trauma-informed therapy and am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support clients in building insight, resilience, and lasting change. Whether you're working through past trauma, feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns, or simply looking for a supportive space to grow, my goal is to meet you where you are—with empathy, curiosity, and practical tools that align with your goals. Therapy doesn’t have to feel clinical or intimidating. I offer a collaborative, down-to-earth approach that invites honesty, self-compassion, and real progress
Our first session is all about getting to know you—your story, your goals, and what brings you to therapy. We'll talk about what’s been going on in your life, explore what you’re hoping to get out of our work together, and begin to identify the areas you'd like to focus on. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable; there’s no pressure to have it all figured out. I’ll also explain how I approach therapy, answer any questions you may have, and work with you to create a plan that feels supportive and manageable. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, safe, and respected—so we can move at a pace that works for you.
As a strengths-based clinician, I believe that healing begins by recognizing the resilience you already carry. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and deeply personalized—I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. I work with clients to identify what’s working, where they feel stuck, and how we can build on their strengths to create meaningful change. I offer trauma-focused therapy through both talk-based psychotherapy and evidence-based practices such as EMDR and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Whether we’re working through a single traumatic experience or the complex impact of long-term stress, I provide a safe, grounded space where healing can unfold at your own pace. I bring my full, authentic self into the therapy room—offering empathy, honesty, and a sense of partnership. Clients often tell me they appreciate the balance of warmth, insight, and practical tools I bring to our work. I strive to make therapy feel less clinical and more like a genuine connection where you feel seen, supported, and empowered.
I work best with individuals who are ready to explore their inner world and make meaningful changes in their lives—even if they’re not quite sure where to begin. I support both teens and adults, and have experience working with veterans and first responders, who often face unique stressors and trauma. Many of my clients are navigating the effects of trauma, anxiety, or major life transitions, and are looking for a therapist who is both compassionate and practical. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck in old patterns, or simply seeking a safe space to better understand yourself, I offer a grounded, supportive environment where healing and growth can unfold at your own pace.
