I work with clients who are ready for change but may feel unsure where to start, helping turn goals into clear, manageable steps. Using CBT and DBT with a trauma-informed approach, I support clients in reframing thoughts, regulating emotions, and building resilience while also addressing real-life stressors. I provide a nonjudgmental, empathetic space where you’ll feel supported as we work together to create meaningful, lasting change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I use CBT, DBT, and a trauma-focused approach. In our first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and create a plan to reduce negative thoughts and symptoms, helping you cope, move forward, and become your best self.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am highly empathetic and nonjudgemental. I will always meet you where you are. My approach to therapy is holistic. We will not only talk about you and how you are feeling but also what environmental stressors and systems might be affecting you, positively or negatively!

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and life transitions, helping them build insight, develop coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected, while also building practical skills to manage stress, regulate emotions, and improve relationships. I take a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach, recognizing the impact of past experiences while also focusing on resilience, personal strengths, and each client’s capacity for growth. I work best with clients who are open to self-reflection and willing to explore how past experiences may be impacting their present. Whether you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for change, I will meet you where you are and support you in applying what we learn in session to your everyday life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice because it helps people understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are all connected. When we identify unhelpful or negative thought patterns and begin to shift them, it can create meaningful change—not just in how you think, but in how you feel and respond to situations. Sometimes, this means learning to see things in ways you may have never considered before. Using the cognitive triangle, we can work together to create healthier patterns that support your goals.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I also use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in my practice to help clients build practical skills for managing intense emotions, navigating stress, and improving relationships. DBT focuses on learning how to stay present, regulate emotions, tolerate distress, and communicate effectively. It’s about finding balance and accepting where you are while also working toward meaningful change. These skills are designed to be used in real life, helping you feel more in control and confident in how you respond to challenges.

Strength-Based

I use a strengths-based approach to help clients recognize their resilience and build on the strengths they already have, creating a foundation for meaningful and lasting change.

Trauma Informed Care

I use a trauma-informed approach that prioritizes safety, trust, and empowerment, recognizing how past experiences impact thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while supporting healing at your own pace.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I am in the process of being certified in TF-CBT, an evidence-based approach that helps clients up to 18 years old process trauma, build coping skills, and reduce the impact of past experiences in a safe and supportive way.
