I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 12+ years of behavioral health experience. I provide warm, compassionate, & practical therapy for teens & adults, helping clients navigate anxiety, stress, life transitions, & other challenges in a safe, judgment-free space.

First session

Clients can expect to feel heard, supported, & never judged. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, identify your goals, & begin exploring practical tools to help you manage what you’re facing. You don’t need to have all the answers—we’ll figure it out together.

Strengths

I bring a calm, grounded presence to every session. After 12+ years in behavioral health & crisis settings, I’m comfortable navigating difficult moments without judgment. I combine compassion with practical tools, helping clients feel heard while building confidence & meaningful change.

Ideal clients

My ideal client is ready for change but may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to begin. I enjoy working with teens & adults navigating anxiety, stress, self-doubt, life transitions, or relationship challenges who want to feel more confident, understood, & in control. They’re open to exploring their experiences, building practical coping skills, & creating a life that feels more fulfilling.

Treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop greater psychological flexibility by learning to make space for difficult thoughts and emotions rather than allowing them to control their choices. Together, we explore personal values, identify what matters most, and translate those values into meaningful, achievable actions. I help clients build skills to stay present, respond to challenges with greater intention, and move toward a life that feels more fulfilling—even when difficult emotions are still present.

Strength-Based

I use a strengths-based approach to help clients recognize the abilities, resilience, and personal strengths they already possess. Together, we explore what has helped them navigate challenges in the past and identify resources they can draw on moving forward. I help clients shift from focusing solely on what feels wrong or difficult to recognizing their capacity for growth, building confidence, and creating meaningful change.

Supportive

I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can process difficult experiences, feel validated, strengthen coping skills, & build confidence navigating life’s challenges.

Trauma-Informed Care

I use a trauma-informed approach by creating a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and in control of their therapeutic experience. I recognize how past experiences can influence thoughts, emotions, relationships, and coping patterns. I prioritize trust, collaboration, choice, and empowerment while helping clients build skills and develop healthier ways of navigating challenges.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize connections between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thought patterns, challenge beliefs that may be contributing to distress, and develop healthier ways of thinking and responding. I incorporate practical, evidence-based strategies that clients can use both in and outside of sessions.
