New to Grow
Like many people, I wear many hats and understand how overwhelming life can feel—whether that’s negotiating with a toddler or celebrating small daily wins. These real-life moments keep me grounded and connected to the work I do. My career began supporting families through trauma, reunification, and youth intervention, which shaped my commitment to helping people heal, reconnect, and grow. Today, I work with both parents and individuals navigating life transitions, relationships, and building a stronger sense of self.
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, supportive connection. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, your goals for therapy, and any relevant background, all at a pace that feels right for you. You can also ask questions and get a sense of how I work. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—this is simply a starting point where you can feel heard, understood, and supported.
My greatest strengths lie in creating a warm, supportive space where clients feel genuinely seen, understood, and safe to be themselves. I take an integrative approach, blending evidence-based methods like CBT, EMDR, and solution-focused therapy with a strong attachment and humanistic foundation. What stands out is my ability to balance deep, meaningful exploration with practical tools and accountability, helping clients not only gain insight but also create real, lasting change in their lives.
My ideal client is someone who is ready to better understand themselves and make meaningful changes in their life, even if they’re not sure where to start. They may be feeling stuck in patterns related to anxiety, relationships, or past experiences, and are open to exploring these with curiosity and honesty. I work best with individuals who are willing to engage in the process, reflect on their thoughts and emotions, and take small, intentional steps toward growth. Whether you're looking to heal from the past, build healthier relationships, or feel more grounded and confident, I offer a supportive and collaborative space to help you get there.
EMDR
I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) in my practice to help clients process and heal from distressing or traumatic experiences that may feel “stuck.” EMDR works by using guided bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements or tapping) to help the brain reprocess difficult memories, reducing their emotional intensity and allowing more adaptive beliefs to emerge. I integrate EMDR in a safe, collaborative, and paced way, ensuring clients feel grounded and supported throughout the process. This approach can be especially effective for trauma, anxiety, and negative self-beliefs, helping clients move toward greater resilience and emotional well-being.
Attachment-based
I use attachment-based psychotherapy because I believe our early relationships shape how we connect and feel safe with others. In therapy, I provide a supportive, consistent space where clients can explore these patterns and build healthier ways of relating. This approach helps clients develop stronger, more secure connections with themselves and others.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) because it helps clients identify and challenge distorted thoughts and unhelpful behaviors that impact their mood and daily life. This approach is practical and collaborative, with a focus on building awareness, developing coping skills, and creating meaningful change. CBT also encourages accountability, empowering clients to actively apply what they learn in and outside of sessions.
Humanistic
I take a humanistic approach to therapy, which means I believe each person has an innate capacity for growth, healing, and self-understanding. I provide a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, build self-awareness, and feel truly seen and accepted. I also integrate EMDR within this framework, helping clients process and release stuck or distressing experiences while staying grounded in a supportive, client-centered relationship. Together, this approach supports both deep healing and meaningful personal growth.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use solution-focused therapy to help clients identify their strengths and build on what’s already working in their lives. This approach is goal-oriented and collaborative, focusing on practical steps and small, meaningful changes that can create forward momentum. By emphasizing progress and possibility, clients can feel more empowered, confident, and capable of creating the change they want.
