I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in TN MS, and MO. My office is based in MS. I received my Master's in Social Work from the University of Missouri, at Columbia in 2013. I have been practicing in the field for 13 years and I have over 30 years of combined and progressive work experience in medical and behavioral healthcare settings.
I have a strong scriptural base and Christian background, and I am naturally holistic and solution-focused, in approach.
I am a Certified Mindfulness Trainer, and I also offer Training and Education for professionals.
First session
In our first session, I like to start with introductions and gain clarity and insight as to the client's reasoning, goals, and objectives for therapy. This is very critical and foundational in that of creating an effective personalized plan of treatment and care.
Strengths
I have a strong scriptural base and Christian background, and I am naturally holistic and solution-focused, in approach. I also have a natural bend in partnering and assisting clients with identifying and addressing the seemingly "little things," that many times appear insignificant and go unnoticed and undetected yet often have a great impact.
