About me

Hi, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with teens, adults, and families navigating life’s challenges. I use evidence-based approaches like CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and strength-based methods to help clients manage anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and parenting challenges. My goal is to create a supportive space where you feel heard, empowered, and equipped with tools to build confidence, strengthen relationships, and create positive change in your life.”

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my goal is to get to know you and understand what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about your concerns, what’s been working for you, and what feels difficult right now. I’ll also ask about your goals and what you hope to get out of therapy so we can start building a plan together. You can expect a safe, supportive space where you set the pace, and nothing is off-limits — this is your time.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What sets my approach apart is my attention to detail and care for each client. I am your advocate and will jump on and ride this journey with you. I work collaboratively with clients to help them understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building confidence and resilience. My practice is based on a multi-modal approach, drawing from various therapeutic strategies. Clients often tell me that they leave sessions feeling heard, empowered, and equipped with tools they can use in their daily lives to navigate challenges and improve relationships.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with teens, adults, and parents who are looking for support with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Many of my clients are motivated to better understand themselves, build confidence, and improve communication in their relationships. Whether you’re a teen navigating big emotions, a parent working to strengthen family dynamics, or an anxious adult wanting to break patterns of people-pleasing, I provide tools and strategies to help you move toward feeling more grounded, empowered, and fulfilled.

My treatment methods

Child Parent Psychotherapy

I have training and experience in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), an evidence-based intervention that supports young children and their caregivers in strengthening attachment, improving emotional regulation, and healing from relational stress or trauma. In my work, I help parents understand and respond to their child’s needs, while also empowering caregivers with tools to manage their own emotional experiences and build healthier patterns of interaction

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based approach that helps clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. In my practice, I use CBT to guide clients in identifying unhelpful thinking patterns, challenging negative beliefs, and developing healthier coping strategies. I often integrate CBT tools such as thought records, reframing exercises, and behavioral strategies like exposure or activity scheduling. Whether I am working with teens struggling with anxiety, adults navigating depression, or parents managing stress, I use CBT techniques to help clients build self-awareness, practice new skills, and make meaningful changes in their daily lives.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I have experience using Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), a strengths-based approach that helps clients identify their existing resources and envision practical steps toward their goals. In my practice, I use SFT to shift the focus from problems to possibilities, guiding clients to build on what is already working in their lives. I often incorporate techniques such as the miracle question, scaling questions, and identifying exceptions to help clients recognize their strengths, set achievable goals, and create actionable plans. Whether working with teens, parents, or adults, I use SFT to empower clients to move forward with clarity and confidence.

Strength-Based

I have experience using a strength-based approach, which focuses on identifying and building upon each client’s unique abilities, resilience, and resources. In my practice, I help clients shift from seeing only their struggles to recognizing their existing skills and successes, no matter how small. By emphasizing strengths, I empower teens, adults, and families to develop confidence, set realistic goals, and create positive change. I often integrate strength-based techniques such as highlighting past achievements, reframing challenges as opportunities for growth, and encouraging clients to draw on their own inner resources to navigate difficulties.
