I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years of experience supporting adults through stress, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I’ve also served in a supervisory role, which allows me to help clients navigate workplace stress, leadership demands, and career goals. My approach is practical, collaborative, and focused on creating sustainable change. I also bring a background in fitness coaching to support both mental and physical consistency as part of overall well-being.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk through your current concerns, goals, and any relevant background, while also identifying what you’d like to get out of the process. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your situation, and we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. We’ll also begin outlining a practical plan for how we can work together moving forward. You can expect a supportive, structured space where you leave with some initial clarity and direction, not just more questions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my approach is that it’s practical and results-oriented. I focus on helping clients not just gain insight, but actually apply what they learn in their daily lives. I integrate methods like Motivational Interviewing, psychoeducation, and a strength-based approach to build clarity, consistency, and follow-through. I also bring a background in leadership and fitness coaching, which allows me to help clients cope with work stress, navigate family and romantic relationship challenges, and stay consistent with fitness and career goals. Clients often leave sessions with clear takeaways and strategies they can use right away, leading to steady, sustainable progress.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults who are navigating stress, life transitions, and relationship challenges, especially those who are balancing demanding careers or personal responsibilities. Many of my clients are motivated but feel stuck, overwhelmed, or inconsistent in areas like mental health, communication, or maintaining healthy routines such as fitness. I’m particularly effective with individuals who are open to self-reflection and want practical strategies, not just a space to talk. My approach helps clients build clarity, strengthen coping skills, and create sustainable changes that align with their goals, values, and daily life.

My treatment methods

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing to help clients work through ambivalence and build their own motivation for change. My approach focuses on open-ended questions, reflective listening, and collaborative goal setting. I often integrate Socratic questioning and psychoeducation to connect behaviors with personal goals, including mental health, relationships, and fitness. This client-centered style supports sustainable, long-term change.

Psychoeducation

I use psychoeducation to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in a clear, practical way. Drawing from my experience across mental health settings, I break down concepts like stress, mood patterns, and coping strategies so they feel more manageable and actionable. I integrate this into sessions alongside therapeutic work to increase insight, reduce confusion, and support informed decision-making. This approach helps clients feel more in control and better equipped to apply what they learn in their daily lives.

Strength-Based

I use a strength-based approach to help clients recognize and build on their existing abilities, resilience, and past successes. In my experience, many clients overlook what they’re already doing well, so I work to highlight those strengths and apply them to current challenges. I integrate this into sessions through collaborative goal setting and reinforcing progress. This helps clients build confidence and create sustainable change from a foundation they already have.
