I am a compassionate therapist with over 20 years of experience in healthcare, specializing in helping individuals overcome challenges stemming from trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and chronic health issues. I offer a safe, nurturing environment where clients can explore their personal stories, identify patterns that keep them feeling stuck, and work towards self-compassion and emotional resilience. Using a Trauma-Informed Focus, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness Practices, I support clients in transforming negativity into positive life changes. I am also bilingual and offer services in both English and Spanish. My mission is to empower individuals to confront their fears, rebuild their belief in themselves, and create meaningful, fulfilling lives.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, clients can expect a comprehensive assessment where we will discuss their concerns and goals in order to develop a tailored treatment plan. My priority is to create a comfortable and open environment, allowing clients to share their story and communicate their expectations for therapy. This collaborative approach ensures that we establish a clear path forward that aligns with their unique needs and desired outcomes.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a provider lie in my deep compassion for each individual I work with and my ability to listen attentively. I strive to create a supportive and empathetic environment, which allows me to truly understand a client's needs. This enables me to identify the most effective therapeutic approaches and provide personalized care that supports their healing and growth.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am best positioned to serve individuals who are grappling with the lasting effects of childhood trauma, abuse, toxic relationships, or challenging work environments. My approach is particularly effective for those dealing with anxiety, depression, chronic health issues, family conflict, relationship struggles, codependency, and survivors of sexual abuse or assault. I work well with clients who are ready to understand their own story, break free from negative patterns, and take courageous steps towards healing and personal growth.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Through cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), I support patients in identifying and challenging negative thought patterns. By applying CBT techniques, individuals can restructure unhelpful thoughts, thereby alleviating the cognitive distortions that often contribute to anxiety and depression.

Grief Therapy

In my practice, I utilize this model to help patients recognize and understand the various stages of grief. I provide psychoeducation on the normal course of grief, helping individuals navigate their emotions and normalize their experiences throughout the grieving process.
