About me

I help high-achieving athletes and professionals overcome anxiety, overthinking, and constant pressure. Using a compassionate, results-driven approach, I guide clients toward lasting emotional strength and clarity. My work blends CBT, somatic therapy, and the proven T.H.R.I.V.E. system to help you feel mentally strong, grounded, and in control—on and off the field. I'll give you tools in the first session to support your goals right away.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll get grounded in your story and identify the patterns causing stress or self-doubt. Most clients say they feel heard, safe, and surprisingly relieved after just one session. We’ll also explore clear goals and outline how we’ll work together to help you feel more like yourself again.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients say I’m both relatable and strategic. I bring warmth and understanding, while also offering structure and tools that actually work. My strength lies in helping high-functioning individuals create emotional balance, using evidence-based methods and the T.H.R.I.V.E. system to build resilience and mental clarity.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with athletes and high performers who feel mentally stuck—driven on the outside but overwhelmed on the inside. They’re often struggling with anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, or people-pleasing and are ready to regain control of their mind and emotional well-being.

My treatment methods

Family Therapy

I use family therapy to help clients understand how their relationships shape their patterns and emotional responses. I support families in improving communication, setting boundaries, and healing unresolved dynamics.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

With CBT, I help clients identify and challenge the thought patterns that drive anxiety, perfectionism, and self-doubt. Together, we reframe unhelpful beliefs and build more adaptive ways of thinking and responding. I’ve used CBT for years with high-performing individuals who want practical tools and lasting change.

Strength-Based

I focus on what’s working—not just what’s wrong. Strength-based therapy helps clients reconnect with their personal resilience, values, and skills. Whether you're an athlete or a high achiever, this approach helps you harness your inner strengths to move forward with confidence and clarity.

I really appreciated that Angie let me ramble through my first session but was already able to start to pull what I needed out of that mess and suggest some small, manageable practices I can work on until we meet next.

Our first session with Angie was very direct and a great listener. We have gone through multiple therapists and counselors before, we had the best vibe with her by far.
