New to Grow
I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine conversation. My approach is down-to-earth, collaborative, and nonjudgmental, balancing compassion with honest feedback when it's helpful. I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves while also feeling supported to change patterns that no longer serve them. Whether you're navigating anxiety, OCD, relationship concerns, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, we will work together at a pace that feels right for you.
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I'll ask about what brought you to therapy, what's been going on in your life, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There is no pressure to share everything right away. We will go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. We will also discuss your goals and begin creating a plan that's tailored to your need. My hope is that you leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of where we are headed together.
I bring an active and collaborative approach to therapy. I'll meet you with empathy and understanding, with also challenging unhelpful patterns or beliefs that may be keeping you stuck. I believe growth often comes from looking at things differently, and my goal is to help you gain insight, build confidence, and create meaningful change that extends beyond our sessions.
I love working with women and the unique challenges we often face throughout life. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, questioning yourself, navigating a difficult relationship, or just feeling like you've lost sight of who you are, you don't have to figure it out alone. My goal is to help you feel understood, build confidence, and create meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients recognize the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we will identify unhelpful thinking patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and build practical skills to support lasting change.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I incorporate DBT skills to help clients manage intense emotions, improve relationships, tolerate distress, and respond to life's challenges more effectively while balancing acceptance with meaningful change.
Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)
I use ERP to help clients gradually face feared situations or intrusive thoughts while resisting compulsive behaviors. This evidence-based approach helps reduce anxiety over time and building confidence in managing uncertainty.
Motivational Interviewing
I use a collaborative, non-judgmental approach to help clients explore ambivalence, strengthen motivation, and build confidence in making meaningful changes that align with their personal values and goals.
Psychoeducation
I believe understand mental health is empowering. I provide education about symptoms, diagnoses, treatment options, and recovery to help clients make sense of their experiences, reduce fear and stigma, and feel more confident navigating new or ongoing mental health challenges, especially during the early stages of conditions such as anxiety, bipolar disorder, or psychosis.
