Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is really about getting to know each other and starting to build a comfortable connection. We’ll talk about what’s been going on in your life, what led you to seek therapy, and what you hope to work on. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you’d like—there’s no pressure and no judgment. I’ll walk you through what therapy with me looks like, answer any questions you might have, and together we’ll start identifying your goals and what support you may need. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and a little more hopeful about the path ahead.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my therapeutic approach is the balance between deep emotional understanding and practical tools for change. I focus on creating a safe, compassionate space where clients feel seen and heard, while also helping them build concrete coping skills they can use in daily life. My methods often integrate trauma-informed, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness-based techniques. Clients often share that they leave sessions with greater clarity, self-compassion, and confidence in their ability to navigate life’s challenges.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve adults who are ready to make meaningful changes and are seeking a supportive, compassionate space to heal and grow. My clients often come to therapy feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or stuck—whether they’re struggling with anxiety, depression, anger, relationship challenges, trauma, or major life transitions. Many are balancing multiple roles or adjusting to new life chapters and want guidance in finding clarity, peace, and purpose. Drawing on a rich background in counseling, education, and mental health, I specialize in helping adults navigate the complexities of everyday life. I work collaboratively with each client to develop personalized strategies that promote emotional balance, resilience, and lasting well-being. My approach is warm, empathetic, and focused on empowering you to create meaningful, positive change in your life. If you’re ready to take the next step toward healing and growth, I will be your biggest supporter and ally, helping you move forward with confidence and hope.
