I am committed to establish a trusting provider-client relationship. At initial meeting, the client will be requested to provide personal and family background information which will serve as a foundation to knowing the client in a more in-depth way. Pertinent information will be collected respecting patient's comfort level.
I treat my clients with empathy and respect. I take extra effort to better understand their pressing situation by sincerely looking at their current plight to include barriers and challenges. I have over 3 decades of clinical experience which honed my expertise in taking care of clients across lifespan. My mental health philosophy incorporates evidence-based interventions combined with compassionate and collaborative approach. I strongly regarded that fostering a safe and respectful environment where patients and families feel supported, empowered, and fully involved promote better healing process. I aspire to poise professionalism with warmth, ensuring that every patient receives quality and personalized mental health care. I believe that mental health struggles and the journey to wellness require trusting alliance with mental health provider to help achieve resilience, stability, and overall well-being.
I may be a psychiatric provider; but I considered being a daughter to 2 aged and sick parents, a mother to a teenager, and a wife as my biggest roles in life. I am best positioned to serve children and teenager with whom I can provide early intervention and treatment for anxiety disorders, depression, and behavior disorders, including ADHD, as well as support for managing social emotional challenges, bullying, trauma, and identity issues. I am sincerely attentive to young adults and young professional who are navigating career-transitions and exploring independence. I am also deeply invested in the mental health needs of our older adults and geriatric population, focusing in managing depression, anxiety, neurocognitive disorders (dementia), and substance use disorders, compounded by loneliness and physical comorbidities integrating care for complex, multi-morbid conditions, improved access to geriatric specialists, and support for social isolation, which are critical for enhancing quality of life.
