Hello! I'm Kevin, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who provides safe and effective management combined brief psychotherapy/psychoeducation. I utilize holistic, patient-centered, and integrative approaches to treat patients. I believe that each person is uniquely different, greater than some of their parts, and brings value to the World we share. The environment I foster in appointments is warm, welcoming, and open minded. I focus on solutions , understanding life experiences, and identifying contributing factors that lead to my clients' current challenges.
In our first sessions we will build a rapport, explore the issues that you are facing, create goals, and develop a treatment plan together that suites your needs. I believe the key to successful treatment is to listening and approaching challenges in a holistic manner, or a person-centered approach. We will build a roadmap for treatment and develop realistic expectations that are specific to your needs.
I utilize individualized, collaborative, evidence-based both psychiatric care medication management and brief psychotherapy including supportive therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing in my sessions. I recognized that Mental wellness is a complex dynamic influenced by multiple levels of biological, psychological, social, and environmental factors, which must be accounted for developing treatment.
I believe that my biggest strengths are listening and making clients feel comfortable. I also have good intuition. In combination, I'm able to piece together a good understanding of the client needs, offer support, develop individualized treatment, and work on appropriate coping skills to develop.
I'm passionate about assisting professionals to reach their potential, achieve resiliency, and find meaningful fulfillment in their lives. People have the capacity to learn and develop tools to sustain long-term mental health. I enjoy helping clients realize they have the capacity to make positive change in their lives harnessing these tools.

I felt very comfortable my first session and when it's my appointment he doesn't just refill my prescriptions,he talks to me about how I'm doing.from my very first appointment he gave me hope because I didn't think I was gonna make it,due to loosing bothmy sons in a tragic accident
