About me

Welcome! I'm Azia, a licensed professional counselor who has found balance in being compassionate and direct. I support clients facing a wide range of challenges—including ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, behavioral struggles, anger management, trauma, grief and loss, attachment concerns, and major life transitions. No two journeys are the same and I tailor my approach to meet each client’s unique needs. I offer a warm, nonjudgmental presence so clients feel safe, seen, and empowered as they work toward meaningful change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session, we will take time to get to know each other, identify your challenges and goals, and what has/has not worked for you in the past. You are the expert on your life, and I value the opportunity to hear from you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe therapy works best when it feels both comfortable and meaningful. My priority is creating a space where you can show up as yourself—no judgment, no pressure. At the same time, I want our sessions to feel productive, so you leave with new insights, tools, or a little more clarity than when you walked in. Clients often tell me they appreciate that our work feels natural and conversational, while still moving them toward real change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I chose this profession to empower individuals and families to build stronger bonds, navigate challenges, and cultivate resilient futures. Using an empowerment model, I help adolescents, adults, and families to overcome obstacles, foster emotional well-being, improve communication, and develop stronger connections.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past three years. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge recurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I’ve been using DBT in my practice for the past three years. We’ll use DBT to understand and accept your difficult feelings, learn skills to manage these feelings, and become able to make positive changes in your life.
