About me

Clients and friends often describe me as calm, warm, and grounded. I am empathetic & fiercely supportive, and can deliver hard truths when needed. I can offer new perspectives, helpful tools, and keep you accountable to your goals. I enjoy guiding meditations, breathing exercises, and gentle stretching in session. Your body and breath can be key tools for healing. I support people with self-esteem, LGBTQ+ identity, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I help people build success and comfort in who THEY want to be - not what society says they “should” be. I blend cognitive (brain) tools and somatic (body) tools. Our sessions create accountability, add new perspectives, and can be a time to practice coping skills (ie. breathing, mindfulness, pen & paper activities). My services are queer, kink, & poly friendly and I am a bisexual queer woman. Artists, creatives, yogis, and nature lovers are people I tend to work best with, although that is not a requirement. I am a certified Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) provider. KAP can be used to treat anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more. It is safe and common to use virtually. I am passionate about psychedelic medicines and the positive impact it has on my clients' treatment.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I hope for clients to walk away with a sense of clarity and lightness after our sessions. Whatever feels heavy or challenging to them - leave some of it here with me in session. I want people to feel validated, supported, and motivated to take care of themselves. I will offer a guided meditation during our session, to see if you enjoy my style of mindfulness and meditation as a means to treat our mental health challenges.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am calm, grounded, and steady. Let me be an anchor so you can ride the waves of your emotions, and hopefully feel more stable at the end of sessions. I am a queer woman and only began to identify as that later in life. I enjoy working with other queer clients, especially those questioning their sexuality or gender identity. Together let's dismantle systems of oppression, and help you express your truest most authentic self!

My treatment methods

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

With a background in yoga and mindfulness, I love guiding people through meditations and mindfulness exercises. This can look like 10-15 minutes at the beginning, middle, or end of our session to slow down and be present with our breath and body. I find that many people want to try mediating but struggle to prioritize it in their life. Why not practice together in therapy? Mindfulness is a great way to soothe our mind and build resilience and acceptance of life's challenges.

Gender-affirming therapy

I have worked with several gender queer and trans clients. It is important to me to provide a radically supportive space for you to express yourself and process the joy and challenges that can come with being gender expansive. I am familiar with HRT, sex positive, and can be a safe place to process these topics that may be taboo or unfamiliar for other providers.

Somatic

Build your awareness and ability to "feel" your feelings - notice sensations in the body. Much of our emotions are sensations in the body that our brain attaches a story and meaning too. What if we honor our body and process our feelings though breath and movement sometimes- rather than always talking about feelings with logic and words? With somatic techniques we can heal holistically.
