I encourage and help clients to find a balance between their "thinking brain" (logic) and "feeling heart" (emotions). Clients and friends often describe me as calm and grounded. Sessions with me can feel casual and conversational, like hanging out with a trusted friend. I am empathetic & fiercely supportive. I can offer new perspectives, helpful tools, and challenge you to stick to your goals. I enjoy guiding meditations, breathing exercises, and gentle stretching in session if it feels right to you. Your body and breath can be key tools for healing. I am a certified Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) provider. KAP can be used to treat anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more. It is safe and common to use virtually. I am passionate about psychedelic medicines and the positive impact it has on my clients' treatment. I identify as a bi-sexual, queer, cis-gender woman. My services are queer, kink, and poly friendly. I offer sliding-scale fee, which means we can take your unique financial situation into consideration when we decide on a cash-pay fee.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I hope for clients to walk away with a sense of clarity and lightness after our sessions. Whatever feels heavy or challenging to them - leave some of it here with me in session. I want people to feel validated, supported, and motivated to take care of themselves.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I offer a therapeutic modality called Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), the use of ketamine as a complement to psychotherapy. I deliver KAP in my practice in partnership with an organization called Journey Clinical, which has a specialized medical team that determines eligibility for KAP, prescribes the ketamine, & supports us in monitoring outcomes. If you would like to explore the possibility of working with me on KAP, please contact me to discuss eligibility and next steps. I am a queer woman and only began to identify as that later in life. I enjoy working with other queer clients, especially those questioning their sexuality or gender identity. Together let's dismantle systems of oppression, and help you express your truest most authentic self!

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Explore how our thoughts, feelings, and actions are all connected. Without judgement (no labeling as "good" or "bad") practice how we can change, adjust, and re-frame thoughts feelings and actions to reach your desires and goals.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Identity what you truly value in life, and align your choices and relationships to better express your values.

Somatic

Build your awareness and ability to "feel" your feelings - notice sensations in the body. Much of our emotions are sensations in the body that our brain attaches a story and meaning too. What if we honor our body and process our feelings though breath and movement sometimes- rather than always talking about feelings with logic and words? With somatic techniques we can heal holistically.
