Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients recognize unhelpful thought and behavior patterns, strengthen coping skills, and develop healthier ways of responding to stress, life transitions, grief, and relationship challenges. My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each client's goal.
Humanistic
I use a humanistic approach to provide a supportive, collaborative space where clients can explore their experiences, increase self- awareness, build on strengths, and work toward meaningful personal growth change.
Narrative
I use narrative therapy to help clients explore their experiences, separate problems from identity, and develop more empowering ways of understanding themselves and their life story. This may include exploring personal experiences, identifying strengths, challenging limiting beliefs, and creating new perspectives that support lasting change.
Strength-Based
I use a Strength-based approach to help clients identify and build upon their existing abilities, resilience, and personal resources. Rather than focusing only on challenges, I work collaboratively with clients to recognize strengths, develop confidence, and use those strengths to navigate stress, life transitions, grief, relationship challenges, and emotional overwhelm.
Grief Therapy
I support adults experiencing grief and loss by providing a compassionate space to process emotions, explore changes in identity and relationships after loss, strengthening coping skills, and supporting clients as they adjust to a changed world while maintaining meaningful connections and routines.
