Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
My experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) has allowed me to help clients identify and replace maladaptive patterns of thinking, emotional responses, and behaviors. CBT focuses on changing automatic negative thoughts that contribute to emotional difficulties, depression, and anxiety. It helps replace flawed thoughts with more objective and realistic ones, aiming to improve overall emotional well-being.
EMDR
I assist clients in focusing on upsetting events while using side-to-side eye movements, sounds, or taps. I guide the client to pay attention to their thoughts after each set. This process may lead to shifts in insight or changes in images, feelings, or beliefs related to the event.
