Thank You for taking time to read my profile. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I love assisting people in helping them move forward in their lives, and having the lives they deserve and want. I work with various treatment modalities such as solution focused therapy , cognitive behavioral therapy and systemic family therapy . I like to look for exceptions to problems such as times the problems are not occurring and what is going on during those times.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session and every session to follow will be you sharing what you feel I need to know. I will never tell you what to do as I believe everyone has the answers to their own problems but I will offer suggestions as we work collaboratively. I like to take down notes during the session so together we can look at patterns and key words you might constantly say as there are many answers when one does that.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have been told I am very nice, extremely helpful, easy to talk to and always wanting to help. I like to read and keep myself updated on new research and scholarly articles so I can grow as a therapist and provide the best services possible

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with children , teenagers, young adults , parents , families , empty nesters and older adults . I have experience for many years esp assisting the chronically mentally ill, substance abuse population, teenagers with self injurious behaviors, Austim spectrum disorders and families.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution Focused Therapy focuses on looking for exceptions to “problems.” Understanding that change is always occurring and the client is the expert on their own life

Family Therapy

The family is a system and each person plays a role that is intertwined together . I do not believe in the concept of “ black sheep” That person who is labeled that is just the one in the family that says “hey everyone we got problems in this house”
