Hi! I am Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in Maryland. I received my post-master's certificate from Regis College in 2019 and have been practicing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for 4 years. I help individuals with mental health illnesses better understand their illness and available treatment options. I offer patient centered care that assists individuals with mental health illnesses live the best life possible.
In our first session we will begin with introductions, confidentiality, followed by a series of questions to better understand your challenges, needs, and goals.
I have over 20 years of experience in the nursing field. I have developed insight and experience that allow me to conduct a thorough assessment, outline a therapeutic plan, and conducted ongoing treatment to meet the patient's needs.
I enjoy working with individuals who are eager to better understand their mental health illness(es) and treatment options. My clients are open-minded and invested in engaging in sustained treatment.
Psychoeducation
I utilize psychoeducation to provide information and education to individuals living with mental health illnesses to help the individual better understand their mental health illness as well as various treatment options. Treatment options may include pharmacological and/or non-pharmacological interventions. The goal is to provide knowledge, coping strategies, and access to resources to maximize quality of life.
