New to Grow
I am a therapist committed to creating a supportive and healing space for those seeking growth and deeper understanding of themselves. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology from UNIBE in the Dominican Republic and a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Alliance University in New York. I have worked extensively as a Behavioral Health Consultant, supporting individuals through a wide range of emotional and life challenges. I enjoy working with young adults and adults of all ages, and I have a special passion for couples counseling. My areas of focus include women’s infertility, chronic ilness, anxiety, ADHD, and major life transitions. I integrate psychodynamic, psychoanalytic, and cognitive-behavioral approaches to help clients explore their patterns, process emotions, and move toward meaningful, lasting change
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, you can expect a supportive space where you can share what brings you to therapy at your own pace. We will explore your current concerns, the patterns you’ve noticed, and the goals you hope to work toward.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strengths come from integrating the approaches I love most—psychodynamic, psychoanalytic, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. I am skilled at helping clients explore the deeper roots of their patterns, understand how past experiences shape their present, and develop new, healthier ways of thinking and responding. This therapeutic journey will offer you an opportunity to emerge from these difficult seasons and achieve growth, renewal, healing, and flourishment. My mission is to provide a space filled with feelings of hope, safety, and trust that will allow others to undergo positive life transformation through a shared therapeutic journey. If you are ready to grow, schedule your session today.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal clients are individuals who are seeking a space where they can slow down, reflect, and truly understand themselves. Clients who may feel overwhelmed by anxiety, avoidance, or emotional disconnection, yet are ready to explore the patterns that keep them feeling stuck. I work well with people who want deeper relationships—with themselves and with others—but aren’t always sure how to get there.
Eclectic
I will adapt my approach based on your needs as therapy progresses is an integrated approach of different therapeutic models.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
We will focus especially about your thoughts and feelings. Asking you questions about your current struggles, uncovering what types of negative automatic thoughts you have that contribute to your emotions and behaviors.
Psychodynamic
The psychodynamic approach examines unconscious thoughts, early childhood experiences, and relational patterns that drive behavior. Rather than symptom management, it aims for long-term change through insight.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
We work with DBT cards to do “homework” in between sessions, ranging from practicing new skills in your everyday life to completing a diary card that tracks your mood, including any urges to self-harm or suicidal thoughts.
