New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who helps adults navigate anxiety, stress, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I specialize in working with men but also support individuals from all backgrounds who want practical tools to improve their mental health. My goal is to create a supportive, structured space where clients can develop insight, build coping skills, and make meaningful progress in their lives.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During our first session, we’ll focus on understanding what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from the process. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, important life experiences, and the goals you would like to work toward. The first session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine whether my approach feels like a good fit. My goal is to create a supportive and comfortable environment where we can begin identifying practical steps that move you toward meaningful progress.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My approach combines empathy with practical, goal-focused strategies that help clients apply what they learn in therapy to their everyday lives. I often use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques to help clients develop greater awareness of their thoughts and behaviors. Clients often appreciate my ability to provide both support and structure, helping them understand the root of their challenges while also developing actionable tools for change. I focus on creating a collaborative process where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered to move forward.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work best with adults who are motivated to better understand themselves and improve their emotional well-being. Many of my clients are experiencing anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, or major life transitions. I frequently work with individuals who feel pressure to manage responsibilities at work, in family life, or in their personal roles and want practical strategies to feel more balanced and confident. I also specialize in working with men who may struggle to talk openly about their emotions but are ready to develop healthier ways of coping and communicating. Clients who benefit most from my approach are those who appreciate structured conversations, practical tools, and a collaborative process focused on meaningful change.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a structured, evidence-based approach to help clients identify and modify maladaptive thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress. In my practice, I guide clients through examining the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while teaching practical skills such as cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, and problem-solving. This approach helps clients develop greater self-awareness and more adaptive coping strategies.
