Having a safe space to talk can help you feel validated, heard and grounded. If you are feeling stressed in life, new or past struggles, feel overwhelmed, burned out or wanting to work on your self esteem and communication, with developing skills and processing internal changes we can make improvement to find that balance and bliss in life. You do not have to go through it alone. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist working with individuals and couples that need that safe space to improve in any way. I provide therapy in English and Spanish, work with the Latino community, POC and the LGBTQ+ community. I have worked with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief, adjustments/transitions in life, parenting, relationships, work related stress and some OCD. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session I will work to understand what brings you to therapy, your goals and gather some information. We will work on building our relationship, my understanding of your needs, learning new skills and making Changes in our lives. We will continue to check in on how we are doing in and out of session, reduce sessions to bi-weekly and then monthly as we see fit. We will terminate when we are stable mentally, have support lined up and able to see the changes we have made together.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I utilize CBT, DBT and Gotten Therapy. I work on identifying thought patterns and challenging thoughts to make changes. I use mindfulness and have a present in time approach. Skills to help with grounding, distractions when overthinking and organization skills. Communication skills are introduced and writing exercises.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am big on addressing the person as a whole, working on understanding our childhood affects, cultural affects and ways of life into the sessions to understand all aspects of the person.
