Hi, I'm Bianca, a Licensed Professional Counselor and founder of Untamed Rose Therapy. I believe therapy is most effective when you feel safe enough to be your authentic self, without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. With over 10 years of experience, I help adults navigate life's challenges with compassion, curiosity, and practical support. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, adjusting to a major life change, or seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, we'll work together to help you heal and grow. I specialize in supporting individuals with: Postpartum mental health & women's issues Anxiety, depression, & trauma Cultural identity challenges Major life transitions Relationship concerns Stress management & personal growth My approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and tailored to your unique needs. Together, we'll explore what's weighing you down, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and build practical tools to help you move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel intimidating, but you don't have to do it alone. When you're ready, I'd be honored to support you on your journey. También hablo español. Si te sientes más cómodo/a comunicándote en español, estaré aquí para escucharte, apoyarte y acompañarte en tu proceso terapéutico de una manera que honre tu cultura, tus valores y tu historia.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a calm, welcoming space where we start getting to know each other. I’ll ask a few simple questions about what brought you in, and you can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable. We will talk about what you’re hoping for and start thinking about goals together, along with ways we might support you. You’re always welcome to ask questions, too. My hope is that you leave feeling heard, supported, and a little more at ease as we begin working together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is helping people feel truly heard, understood, and supported. I create a space where you can be yourself and talk openly about the things that feel heavy, whether that's past experiences, everyday stress, relationship challenges, or emotions that are hard to put into words. I'm here to listen, but I'm also here to help you grow. I'll gently challenge you when needed, ask thoughtful questions, and help you notice patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we'll turn those insights into simple, practical steps that you can use in your everyday life. At Untamed Rose Therapy, I believe healing isn't about becoming someone else—it's about reconnecting with who you are beneath the expectations, self-doubt, and life experiences that may have pulled you away from yourself. Like an untamed rose, you can be both soft and strong, rooted in who you are while continuing to grow.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

The clients I work best with are adults who feel stuck or weighed down by past experiences and want to better understand how those patterns are affecting their present life. I especially connect with first-generation individuals and women navigating postpartum life as they navigate identity shifts, cultural or family expectations and the pressure to hold everything together. I work best with clients who are open to reflection, curious about their patterns, and looking for meaningful change that goes beyond symptom relief and supports a deeper understanding of themselves and how they want to move forward.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help you focus on what’s already working in your life. Together, we will identify your strengths, set meaningful goals, and build practical steps toward the changes you want to see.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

My approach incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help you navigate challenging thoughts and feelings without feeling overwhelmed by them. We’ll focus on what’s most important to you and take small, purposeful steps in that direction.

EMDR

With EMDR, I help you safely process difficult memories so they become less overwhelming over time. This can create space for new perspectives, increased calm, and a greater sense of control in your day-to-day life.

Somatic

I incorporate somatic therapy by helping you tune into how your body holds stress and emotions. Together, we’ll use simple, body-based techniques to support regulation, release tension, and help you feel more grounded.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use DBT-informed skills in my work to help clients better understand and manage their emotions, handle stress more effectively, and improve relationships. I often focus on practical tools like mindfulness, coping strategies, and communication skills that clients can use in their everyday lives.
