New to Grow
I’m a licensed mental health counselor who works with individuals and couples navigating stress, relationship challenges, and emotional overwhelm. I support clients who want practical tools alongside deeper insight, helping them communicate more effectively, manage difficult emotions, and feel more grounded in their day-to-day lives. My goal is to create a space where clients feel understood while also making meaningful, lasting changes that improve their relationships and overall well-being.
Our first session can feel a little structured or a little all over the place. It really just depends on what you’re bringing in, and either way is totally fine. I like to get a solid sense of what’s going on in your world and what’s led you to reach out. I’ll ask some questions to help guide us, but there’s no pressure to have everything figured out or to share more than you’re ready to. It’s also a chance for us to get a feel for each other, since therapy works best when it feels like a good fit. We’ll start talking through what you’d like to get out of this and make sure we’re on the same page about where we’re headed. By the end of the session, you should have a clearer sense of how I work and what moving forward together could look like.
I try to strike a balance between being approachable and actually helping things move forward. You can show up however you are, and I'll meet you there, but I’m also going to help us stay focused on what matters so you’re not just spinning your wheels. I tend to keep things practical. I want you to understand what’s going on beneath the surface, but also walk away with tools you can actually use in your day-to-day life, especially when it comes to managing emotions and improving communication in your relationships. I also put a lot of value on making sure therapy feels like a good fit. We’ll collaborate on your goals early on so the process feels like something we’re building together, not something being done to you. Over time, my goal is for you to have more clarity, feel more confident handling tough moments, and start seeing real shifts in how you respond and relate to others.
