Are you struggling with ADHD or OCD? Do you feel stuck in a cycle of negative thoughts and behaviors? If so, you are not alone. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in helping people like you overcome these challenges and achieve their goals. I will meet you where you are, help you identify your goals, and guide you through the process of getting un-stuck using an approach derived from evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral, internal family systems, and narrative therapies. I have been helping individuals and caregivers since 2015, and I would love to help you too.
Our work together will be collaborative, friendly, and purposeful. I welcome feedback and balance processing with action steps in order to identify and achieve your goals. Sessions and approaches are very client-driven.
I see symptoms as your brain's attempt at trying to protect you. Through therapy, we can look at what your brain has developed and how to re-train your brain to help rather than cause you pain.
IMPORTANT: currently, I am taking clients for short-term treatment (until Mid-May) and will resume picking up long-term clients at the end of July. As someone who strongly feels that everyone deserves to be able to understand themselves, I would love to challenge you to build insight into what makes you who you are and to find the direction you may be looking for. If you're stuck in stress, feeling down or hopeless, or looking to build more productive habits, let's get you feeling like yourself again.

I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge the negative thought patterns and behaviors that may contribute to a wide range of mental health issues. In combination with other process-based modalities helps clients focus on solutions, build skills, and work on why their symptoms have developed. By using CBT, I aim to empower clients to become more aware of their thoughts, feelings, and actions, and to make positive changes in their lives.
I use narrative therapy in conjunction with other, solution-focused modalities to help my clients explore and change the stories that they tell about themselves, especially those that are problematic and dominant. Narrative therapy can help clients with various issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and relationship difficulties. By using narrative therapy, I aim to help my clients discover their inherent strengths, values, and skills, and to create a more positive and hopeful narrative for their future.
