New to Grow
I am a passionate Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania and South Carolina. I have over 5 years of direct experience working with diverse populations within community outpatient mental health clinics, adolescents through adulthood and working with those struggling with co-occurring disorders. I offer a non-judgment, compassionate, warm and welcoming space for you to show up as your genuine self-no masks and no perfection. I use a holistic approach grounded in mindfulness and CBT practices. I offer steady support as you reconnect with yourself, build confidence, and gently take back control of your life with your most empowered self.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
From my perspective, therapy is about empowering people to build confidence and develop the skills they need to enhance their overall quality of life. Together, we’ll explore patterns, strengthen healthy coping strategies, and work toward meaningful, sustainable changes that align with your goals. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space grounded in empathy, collaboration, and personal growth. As an experienced and compassionate therapist, I blend genuine care with evidence-based approaches to foster strong therapeutic relationships and support lasting, positive change.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I value my ability to connect with people from many different backgrounds and life experiences. I take a lot of pride in my ability to build authentic, meaningful connections with clients through empathy, curiosity, and understanding.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
Life can be a lot. It can be messy, chaotic, joyous and unexpected. You don't have to be going through a crisis or have everything figured out to ask for help. We all have different paths in life, but you don't have to walk yours alone. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, or trauma- you aren't alone.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness-based practice in therapy helps us notice our thoughts, feelings, and body sensations in the present moment—without judging or trying to change them—so we can respond more calmly and skillfully instead of reacting on autopilot.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) helps us identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts, behaviors and beliefs, to understand how these affect emotions and behaviors, and practice more balanced ways of thinking and acting to improve how we feel.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
Person-centered therapy emphasizes a supportive, nonjudgmental relationship where our sessions offer empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard, helping you grow through self-understanding and self-directed change.
Strength-Based
Strengths-based therapy focuses on identifying and building on our already existing strengths, skills, and resources to foster resilience, confidence, and positive change.
