I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who supports adults navigating anxiety, burnout, and major life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and action-oriented. I help people move from feeling stuck or overwhelmed to feeling more grounded, connected, and purposeful. In our work together, you’ll build practical tools, explore unhelpful patterns, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself so you can make choices that align with the life you want to create. My goal is to offer a space where you can be honest about what you’re going through without fear of judgment. I believe therapy works best when it helps you feel more like yourself- clearer, calmer, and empowered to make meaningful changes. Together, we’ll focus on interrupting old patterns and building new skills that help you move forward with confidence.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Before our first full appointment, I offer a complimentary phone consultation. This gives us a chance to talk through your questions and make sure we’re a good fit based on your needs and preferences. Although Grow’s system displays it as a standard appointment, this first call is simply a brief conversation to connect and discuss next steps. I also have more availability than what appears on my Grow calendar, and we can talk through scheduling during the consultation. During our first full session, we’ll begin building trust and laying the foundation for our work together. I’ll ask about your past, present, and future in broad strokes so I can understand what’s getting in your way and what strengths you already have. As we continue, we’ll focus on insight, skill-building, and real-life changes. I’m transparent about why I ask certain questions or suggest certain tools, and nothing is off-limits. This is your space to explore freely and at your own pace.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients often tell me they feel comfortable with me right away. I bring warmth, authenticity, and respect into every session, which helps create a foundation of trust. My experience across many settings including community mental health, medication-assisted treatment, residential rehab, corrections, and private practice has given me a wide range of tools and a deep understanding of how people grow. No matter your background or what you’re facing, I show up with compassion and a genuine desire to support you. I adapt my approach to fit your needs and help you build skills, confidence, and clarity so you can move forward in a way that feels true to you.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults who look like they “have it together” on the outside but feel disconnected, anxious, or overwhelmed underneath. You may be navigating a major life transition, dealing with constant overthinking, or feeling stuck in patterns you can’t seem to break. You’re tired of going through the motions and are ready to feel grounded and like yourself again. My ideal clients want more than a space to vent- they want practical tools and real change. You value a therapist who will meet you with warmth and curiosity while also challenging you to grow. If you’re ready to understand what’s keeping you stuck and take steps toward a more intentional, aligned life, we’ll likely be a great fit.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT skills to highlight the link between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to develop insight into what contributes to uncomfortable emotions or unwanted behaviors so that skills can be developed to slow down, challenge what might not be true, and restructure unhelpful thoughts, beliefs, and actions to live a more aligned, confident, and fulfilling life.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I utilize DBT skills for overwhelming emotions and for managing relationships in a more helpful way. In DBT, I introduce TIPP skills and interpersonal effectiveness when it is appropriate for helping navigate uncomfortable emotions, situations, and difficulty in relationships.

Eclectic

I use a wide range of techniques, styles, and interventions based on the individual. I do not have a one-size-fits-all approach. I take my learning and experience from the past decade and openly and collaboratively work with my clients to create an environment where they can reach their goals and be supported along the way.

Strength-Based

Through our work together, we uncover your inherent strengths, how they've helped you get to where you are, and how to utilize them to get to where you want to be. This modality has a focus on where you want to go using the resources available to you vs. only focusing on symptom reduction or management. It is an empowering and collaborative approach.
