Hello fellow seeker of knowledge! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counsellor (LMHC) based in Western New York and serving NY state and Maine. I received my Masters from Canisius College and have been serving people in as a counselor for 8 years. I help anxious and lost adults reduce the impact of their anxiety on their life, learn to focus on what they want to focus on, and develop strategies to live more freely and with more certainty.
In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions and I will give a brief summary of my process with therapy before delving down into the specific challenges you want to overcome. This will help me create an individual plan for us to enact in subsequent sessions.
I believe that my years spent helping anxious people untangle their constant thoughts, ever-deepening knowledge pool of tools and research in my chosen career, and my own journey towards mindful and healthy practices will be your asset in guiding you through your current and future challenges.
My experience, knowledge, and passions are best suited to serve people who feel lost in their tangled thoughts; who want to sort through their anxieties to find freedom and security in their life.
