I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) and I started in this field in 2011. I help adults better manage their anxiety, depression and relationship with substances. I use a supportive and collaborative approach to my sessions and approach therapy from a non judgmental stance to best support my clients to achieve their therapy goals.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Having worked with many different clients from all different backgrounds, I can help support your progress towards achieving goals in therapy.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I love working with adults who are motivated to make changes in their lives to help them better manage strong emotions and challenge thinking traps. I also love working with adults who are thinking about changing behaviors around substance use.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to teach my clients how to challenge thinking traps that can feed anxiety and depression.
Motivational Interviewing
I use motivational interviewing to help clients move through the stages of change and continue progressing in therapy.
