Is life scary sometimes? Is it hard for you to have the confidence to tackle the big things in life? Do you sometimes notice a younger part of yourself that needs comfort? I help those of you who suffer from unresolved traumas both big and small. I pull from my experiences of mother, grandmother, wife, widow, sister, daughter. Together we can explore the different parts of self and how our roles and relationships affect us. I can guide you to a deeper awareness of how life wounds can affect performance and satisfaction with life. I use a combination of EMDR, mindfulness, ego state and somatic awareness to help you achieve your goals. Through this process you may begin to feel a deeper peace that I call soul living; fully embracing who you are and the moment you are in. Together we can improve the quality of your relationships with others and with yourself. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you are facing. This will help me develop a tailored treatment plan for our work together. The first session explores what past experiences show up to cause current problems in your confident, relationships and behavioral responses.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I enjoy helping you understand the unique person you were born to be. I am not afraid to embrace your pain and together we can search for some relief. Pain can be scary, and we find many ways to escape it. This is our answer to life's problems, but sometimes it can become overwhelming. This is my biggest strength, to provide safety and insight as we access the pain and move toward a new way of life.

My treatment methods


EMDR helps the traumatic memories, emotions and body sensations process through our brain allowing us to benefit from past and present learning. These stuck memories do not benefit from our present experiences and information that would help us feel safe, loved or important. It is a faster way to process stuck trauma memories.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Our primary relationship with those who cared for us as children affect all our future relationships. IFS is a treatment that works with different parts of self that developed as a result of childhood experiences. We all have different parts of self that show up in our different roles. IFS helps us identify those wounded parts of self that are stuck and help express suppresses emotions and change negative core beliefs these parts have.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Learning to stay in the present moment without worrying about the past or future is the goal of mindfulness. To stay fully present with all your awareness and senses is very difficult. Mindfulness is a great therapy to reduce anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts or traumatic memories
