New to Grow
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in helping people move from the paralyzing 'what ifs' of anxiety into a confident 'we can.' I understand how attachment concerns can make the world feel unpredictable and secure boundaries feel out of reach. My practice is dedicated to transforming that internal uncertainty into external stability. Together, we will bridge the gap between your past patterns and your future goals, using a blend of deep relational insight and practical, structured tools. My mission is to ensure you never have to navigate the path to mental wealth alone, replacing fear with a collaborative plan for growth.
Our first session is all about exhaling. There’s no right or wrong way to start—we’ll just grab a virtual coffee and get to know each other. I know that when you're dealing with both anxiety and relationship tension, everything can feel urgent. My priority is making sure you feel safe and heard from the moment we log on. We’ll start mapping out what a 'wealthier' life and healthier relationships look like for you. You don’t need to have it all figured out yet; you can expect to leave our first hour with a little more breathing room and a clear plan for how we’ll tackle these challenges together.
I describe my approach as 'gentle but honest.' In our work together, we won't just talk about your anxiety; we’ll look at how it shows up in your daily life and your relationships. I create a no-judgment zone where we can explore the patterns that keep you feeling disconnected or misunderstood. Using a mix of warm conversation and personalized worksheets, we’ll work on building a 'toolbox' for setting healthy boundaries, managing anxiety and building confidence. My goal is to help you move from simply 'managing' your stress to building relationships that actually feel supportive and replenishing.
My ideal client is someone navigating the weight of constant anxiety and the deep-seated patterns of attachment concerns. You may find yourself feeling perpetually on edge, struggling to feel truly secure in your relationships, or constantly second-guessing your worth and your 'no.' Whether you are dealing with a history of being let down or simply feel stuck in a cycle of worry, you are looking for a space where you can understand the 'why' behind your fears while gaining real tools to handle them. I work with individuals who are ready to explore the roots of their anxiety and build a more stable, grounded connection with themselves and the people in their lives.
Attachment-based
In my practice, I believe that true personal development starts with understanding your attachment style. My work focuses on healing the 'relational wounds' that make boundary-setting feel scary or impossible. By exploring these roots, we move from reactive habits to intentional, empowered choices in your work and personal life.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I like to use CBT as a way to audit your mental habits. Think of it like a software update for your brain. We’ll look at the specific thoughts that trigger feelings of guilt or anxiety, and then we’ll practice new ways of responding. It’s the 'workout' portion of therapy where we build the muscle memory you need to stay firm in your boundaries and your personal growth.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness is a core pillar of my approach to boundary setting. I help you reconnect with your 'gut feeling' and the physical cues your body sends when you’re overextending yourself. By staying grounded in the present moment, you can stand firm in your personal truth without getting swept away by the 'guilt storms' or anxiety that often come with personal growth.
Motivational Interviewing
My use of Motivational Interviewing ensures that you remain the expert of your own life. We’ll look at the 'gap' between where you are and where you want to be, using your own wisdom to resolve the hesitation that often comes with setting new boundaries. This approach empowers you to find your own 'why,' making your growth more sustainable and authentic.
Psychoeducation
I like to use Psychoeducation because when you understand how your nervous system or your attachment style works, it takes the shame out of the struggle. To help that click, I’m going to share some of my personalized worksheets with you. Think of these as 'lab notes' for your life—they give you a structured way to track your progress and practice setting those boundaries we talk about, even when I’m not in the room with you.
