Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Clients can expect their first session to be a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where we begin building a strong therapeutic connection. In this initial session, I focus on getting to know you as a whole person, including your current challenges, personal history, strengths, and what brings you to therapy. We will explore your concerns at a pace that feels comfortable and begin identifying your goals for treatment. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and supported, with a clearer sense of direction for our work together. Together, we will begin developing a personalized plan that supports practical tools, increased self-awareness, and meaningful progress toward emotional wellness.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach is person-centered, collaborative, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs. I integrate evidence-based therapeutic practices to support clients in building self-awareness, strengthening resilience, enhancing communication, and developing healthier ways of coping with difficult emotions and life experiences. I am committed to creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy supporting individuals who are navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges and substance use concerns. My goal is to create a warm, supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being themselves and openly exploring what they are going through. I value building strong therapeutic relationships and work collaboratively with clients to help them better understand themselves, develop healthy coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. My experience includes working with adults both mental health and substance use settings. I also have experience supporting autistic individuals through a strengths-based and individualized approach. I am especially passionate about helping clients who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about how to move forward, and who are motivated to improve emotional well-being, build resilience, and develop healthier patterns in their daily lives.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have experience using CBT to support individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges and other mental health concerns. I use this treatment method to help clients identify the connection between their thoughts, emotions and behaviors, while developing healthier coping strategies and more balanced ways of thinking. My approach to CBT is collaborative, supportive and individualized to each client’s unique needs and goals. I help clients recognize unhelpful thought patterns, build self-awareness and develop practical tools to manage difficult emotions and everyday challenges. I also incorporate skill-building techniques such as cognitive restructuring, mindfulness, problem-solving, emotional regulation and behavioral strategies to support lasting change.
