New to Grow
I am a bilingual (English/ Spanish) trauma-informed therapist who blends mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral, narrative, and parts-based approaches to support healing and growth. I create a safe, compassionate space where clients can explore thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. My work helps people understand themselves, build resilience, and move from survival patterns toward self-trust, clarity, and meaningful change. On a personal note, I love research, meditation, and neuro-psychology.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a safe, supportive space. I’ll invite you to share what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from our work together. We’ll talk about your history, current challenges, and any goals you’d like to set, while also leaving room for questions you may have about the therapy process. This is also a time for you to see how it feels to work with me. I understand that opening up isn’t always easy, so we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. By the end of the first session, most clients leave with a sense of relief, clarity, and a beginning direction for therapy. You don’t need to prepare anything special—just bring yourself. Together, we’ll start laying the foundation for your healing and growth.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strength is my ability to create a safe, grounded spcae where people feel seen, heard, and respected. I meed clients with compassion and curiosity, allowing them to move at their own pace while building trust and clarity.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal client is someone who is stuck in patterns shaped by past experiences but is ready to understand themselves more deeply. They may struggle with anxiety, relationship challenges, or the lingering impact of trauma, yer they are open to growth and meaningful change.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
My experience with cbt includes working with individuals presenting with anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, and relational distress.
Narrative
I used narrative therapy as a collaborativ, strenght based approch that helps clients seperate themselves from their problems and re-authos their life stories in ways that align with their values, identity, and resilience. This approach is especially helpful for clients with trauma histories, identity concerns, relational challenges, and shame-based narratives.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
I use IFS as a parts-based, trauma-informed approach that helps clients understand and heal internal conflicts by recognizing different "parts" of themselves, rather than viewing symptoms as pathology.
