New to Grow
Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counseling in Pennsylvania. I am passionate about providing strength-based, trauma-informed, and culturally competent care to support mental health. I am committed to supporting adults with navigating transitions and life challenges and learning to approach life with attitudes of self-compassion and self-acceptance. I use cognitive behavioral approaches in an individualized manner to encourage positive and sustainable change.
The first session we complete will be an intake session, during which we take time to talk about current challenges and your history. It's important for me that you feel comfortable, and sometimes it takes time to feel comfortable talking about some aspects of life. That's okay! Also, we will answer any questions you have and create treatment goals.
I take an individual approach to working with each client and always remind myself that the client is the expert on their experiences.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, I support clients with identifying the way that thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are related and empower them to understand and change the relationship with their thoughts to improve functioning.
Compassion Focused
By incorporating compassion-focused care, I support clients with understanding that the way they treat themselves matters, and adopting an attitude of self-compassion is likely to enhance any treatment method.
