I am a licensed in Florida with 15 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, & coping with grief and loss. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. In the first session, I will establish a rapport with the client, ask more detailed questions about the presenting problem, and explore what interventions have helped in the past and explore what are your goals for therapy.
I build rapport very easy and I have had many clients share with me that it felt like they were speaking to a dear friend. I have empathy and connect very easily to the emotions that the client is experiencing. I general feel this is my life's work and calling to help others reach their greatest potential and live a life that is happy and whole.

Additional areas of focus: Addictions, Family conflicts, Trauma and abuse, Intimacy-related issues, Anger management, Career difficulties, Bipolar disorder, Coping with life changes, Compassion fatigue, Aging and Geriatric Issues, Caregiver Issues and Stress, Chronic Pain Illness and Disability, Co-morbidity, Codependency, Guilt and Shame, Hospice and End of Life Counseling, Jealousy, Military and Veterans Issues, and Multicultural Concerns. Clinical approaches: Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy .
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I help the client understand how early childhood experiences shape how they perceive self, and others around them, help them analyze core beliefs, conditional statements, and how to cope with situations that do not turn out the way you expected. Intervention will consist of goal setting, gaining confidence and self-esteem, learning about cognitive distortions, accountability, and expression of feelings.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I help clients regulate emotions in a healthy way. I use talk therapy for individuals who experience emotions intensely. It is based in CBT. It helps people. DBT helps people accept reality and their behaviors and helps them to change behaviors that are not good for for you.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
A short term intervention to help you improve physical and emotional bonds between individuals who have experienced trauma, mistrust, developed , unhealthy Attachment styles.
