I will meet clients where they are; we can work on immediate problem solving issues or deeper core issues from past dynamics. I will do a thorough assessment and give psychoeducation on patterns, family of origin issues, core beliefs, and thought patterns that may be obstacles that prevent people from achieving their goals or ultimate happiness. For clients who have had previous unpleasant outcomes in therapy where they feel that all the therapist did was "listen", this will be a different experience for people who really want help or change.
I utilize an eclectic use of therapeutic techniques, depending on the needs of the individual. Each client will have a thorough assessment and an individualized plan discussed. I implement a variety of evidenced based services such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, TF-CBT, DBT, and mindfulness, as well as family systems, integral psychology framework, and holistic modalities. I am also a provider of Ketamine Assisted Therapy for people who may want to explore alternative methods for treatment resistant conditions such as OCD, PTSD, Depression and Anxiety.
I have extensive knowledge in the field of addiction and can assist others in understanding and addressing these issues, whether it be the individual who struggles with managing stressors free from substances or someone who is impacted by a partner or family member's use. I also specialize in trauma and helping others understand the ramifications of exposure to traumatic events and how to recover. I also recognize a pattern in the past few years that people are having unique struggles with anxiety, depression, isolation, and global worries and can assist people with setting healthy boundaries and regaining their sense of self and serenity.
