I am a bilingual Latinx therapist with over 18 years of experience, offering culturally grounded mental health support through my private practice, Luna Nueva Holistic Therapy. My approach integrates evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, and interpersonal therapy with holistic healing and ancestral practices to support mind-body-spirit wellness. I specialize in working with BIPOC and first-generation individuals navigating life transitions, grief, cultural identity, and generational trauma, offering a compassionate and affirming space for healing, self-discovery, and radical self-love.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect to be welcomed into a safe, non-judgmental space where your whole self is honored. I will take the time to listen to your story, your experiences, and the challenges you are facing, whether they are personal, cultural, or relational. You won’t just be seen for the symptoms you present with, but as a whole person: mind, body, and spirit.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My strengths lie in my ability to create a safe, compassionate space where clients feel truly seen and understood. Drawing from my own life experiences and over 18 years of working across diverse settings, age groups, and populations, I bring a deep well of empathy and cultural humility to each session. I integrate evidence-based practices with a holistic approach that honors each individual’s unique background and journey, and I am committed to empowering clients to reconnect with their authentic selves and achieve lasting transformation.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m ready to serve individuals seeking a healing space that honors their whole being. I work with BIPOC, first-generation, and multicultural clients who are navigating life transitions, identity, grief, or generational trauma, and who value a holistic, culturally affirming approach. Together, we explore emotional, spiritual, and cultural layers of healing, helping them reclaim their voice and reconnect with their authentic selves.

My treatment methods

Integrative

Integrative Therapy: My approach is integrative, meaning I draw from various modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, Somatic (mind-body) modalities, and ancestral practices, to meet each client’s unique needs.

Interpersonal

I also draw on interpersonal psychology to explore how past and current relationships influence your sense of self and connection with others. In sessions, we may reflect on attachment patterns, communication styles, or dynamics that show up both in your life and within the therapeutic relationship itself

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

As a culturally sensitive therapist, I honor the unique cultural backgrounds and identities of each person I work with. I also incorporate ancestral and traditional practices rooted in cultural wisdom, storytelling, and connecting with one's lineage as part of a deeper, more grounded healing journey.
