(she/her)
I am a bilingual Latinx therapist with over 18 years of experience, offering culturally grounded mental health support through my private practice, Luna Nueva Holistic Therapy. My approach integrates evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, and somatic therapy, transpersonal psychology, and ancestral practices to support mind-body-spirit wellness. I specialize in working with BIPOC and first-generation individuals navigating life transitions, grief, cultural identity, and generational trauma, offering a compassionate and affirming space for healing, self-discovery, and radical self-love.
In our first session, you can expect to be welcomed into a safe, non-judgmental space where your whole self is honored. I will take the time to listen to your story, your experiences, and the challenges you are facing, whether they are personal, cultural, or relational. You won’t just be seen for the symptoms you present with, but as a whole person: mind, body, and spirit.
My strengths lie in my ability to create a safe, compassionate space where clients feel truly seen and understood. Drawing from my own life experiences and over 18 years of working across diverse settings, age groups, and populations, I bring a deep well of empathy and cultural humility to each session. I integrate evidence-based practices with a holistic approach that honors each individual’s unique background and journey, and I am committed to empowering clients to reconnect with their authentic selves and achieve lasting transformation.
I’m ready to serve individuals seeking a healing space that honors their whole being. I work with BIPOC, first-generation, and multicultural clients who are navigating life transitions, identity, grief, or generational trauma, and who value a holistic, culturally affirming approach. Together, we explore emotional, spiritual, and cultural layers of healing, helping them reclaim their voice and reconnect with their authentic selves.

Integrative
Integrative Therapy: My work is rooted in an integrative approach that combines evidence-based psychotherapy with body-centered and experiential practices. I draw from Somatic Therapy, Attachment Theory, Interpersonal, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and Transpersonal Psychology.
Culturally Sensitive Therapy
My practice is culturally responsive and culturally affirming. I recognize that healing takes place within the context of family, culture, community, spirituality, and lived experience. Rather than asking clients to separate these parts of themselves, we integrate them into the therapeutic process in ways that support resilience, belonging, and authentic healing.
