Hello. My name is Dr. Alandrea Martin. I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist. I received my Masters from Argosy University in Alameda, California. I have been practicing 15 years. I am passionate about helping clients achieve success while going through struggles and life challenges. I have also worked with couples and families to help increase communication and to resolve conflicts.
In our first session, we will start with brief introductions. From there, clients will share their struggles and challenges. Together we will discuss a treatment plan. Clients can expect for me to provide coping skills for clients to utilize as they work towards completing their goals.
I provide active listening skills in a safe and non-judgmental environment for clients to express their thoughts and feelings. I have 10+ years of experience as a foster parent. I provide an integrative approach to best fit client's needs.
I love working with adults who are struggling with anxiety and low self-esteem. I like to help support them by providing the tools they need to cope and to become the best version of themselves.
I encourage clients to view issues in a different perspective by developing a more helpful way of thinking and seeing their issues and situations.
