New to Grow
My lived experience, healing from the throes of unrealistic expectations and metrics, in a world that so rewards them, allow me a deeply empathetic perspective that makes you feel seen and heard. I became a therapist because I’m passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges and find relief from anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. When I'm not doing therapy, I love going to concerts, traveling, and hanging out with my dogs Duke and Boomer.
During intake, we focus on understanding your goals, strengths, and challenges so we can create a plan tailored to you. Progress often looks like gaining clarity, learning coping strategies, and noticing small but meaningful changes in daily life. I enjoy working with clients managing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, life transitions, and relationship or family challenges. Sessions are collaborative, warm, and judgment-free.
My own lived experience with anxiety and stress informs my work, allowing me to create warm, collaborative, and safe spaces for those seeking support. I like to think I have a great sense of humor that intertwines with digestible information that you can carry with you for the long haul.
Therapy for men who have mastered success but not their emotions. I'm the therapist for you If you find yourself: --having been taught to be "tough" but now feeling trapped by it --having trouble saying no to people without guilt --feeling guilt or shame for having needs and emotions --with a partner who is always wanting more from you Therapy for women whose inner critic never clocks out. I’m the therapist for you if you find yourself… --feeling like you "have it all" but still don't feel happy or fulfilled --feeling guilty for rest and not being productive --struggling to sleep at night because your mind is racing about everything you need to do to keep things moving --thinking you're never good enough --in relationships where you're giving more than receiving --feeling like your values are at odds with what's expected of you
