I’m a trauma-informed therapist who works with adults navigating anxiety, grief, and complex relationship dynamics. My approach is supportive, grounded, and tailored to your unique needs. I help clients better understand their emotional patterns, process difficult experiences, and build practical tools for lasting change. I also have experience supporting individuals impacted by domestic violence and veterans. I aim to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and able to move forward at your own pace.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and what’s bringing you in. I’ll ask some questions about your current concerns, background, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy, but there’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with. We’ll also begin identifying patterns and areas of focus, and I’ll answer any questions you have about the process. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of next steps.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What makes my approach unique is the balance of deep emotional understanding and practical, real-life application. I have experience working in trauma-focused settings, including supporting individuals and families impacted by domestic violence, as well as working with veterans and those connected to military life. These experiences have strengthened my ability to stay grounded and present in complex situations, while helping clients make sense of how past experiences may be impacting them today. I use a trauma-informed, relational approach to help clients gain insight, process emotions, and build practical tools they can use in their everyday lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults who feel stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand—whether that shows up as anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or challenges in relationships. Many of my clients have been carrying the impact of past experiences, trauma, or difficult family dynamics and are ready to make sense of it in a deeper way. They often want more than just coping—they want clarity, emotional stability, and healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. I support clients in understanding the “why” behind their patterns while also building practical tools they can use in everyday life.

My treatment methods

Integrative

I use an integrative approach to therapy, meaning I draw from multiple evidence-based modalities to meet each client’s unique needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all method. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care and incorporates elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), attachment-based therapy, and mindfulness. In practice, this looks like helping clients understand the patterns behind their thoughts, emotions, and relationships, while also building practical tools for managing anxiety, improving communication, and increasing self-awareness. I tailor each session to where the client is in the moment—whether that’s processing deeper emotional experiences or focusing on concrete strategies for change.
