LMHC, 28 years of experience
Hello! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Indiana. I have over 25 years in the mental health field working in multiple roles serving clients and their families both in office and in home. I am clinically trained in art therapy and wish to support clients in their mental health journey. I have experience working with multiple populations and simply wish to help others heal.
In our first session we will begin with introductions and the client sharing the specific problem areas they want to address. We will assess for any safety concerns and begin laying out a treatment plan that makes the client feel secure in their decision to seek treatment.
I have found over the years that being myself and encouraging the client to do the same, makes for the best road to rapport building and healthy communication that is clear for all. I love using humor and art to help clients feel at ease.
I love working with individuals who are seeking to better themselves and take control in their lives. I enjoy working with those that have an open mind and can be creative in finding treatment options that work.
