New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with nearly a decade of experience supporting adults managing anxiety, depression, PTSD, and major life changes. I provide a collaborative, compassionate space where clients can feel truly heard and understood while exploring their experiences and gaining clarity. Together, we focus on building practical skills, developing new perspectives, and making meaningful changes that help clients feel more resilient, confident, and empowered in their lives. I also offer an affirming space for clients of all identities, including those in the LGBTQIA+ community, where they can feel safe to grow and thrive.
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and understanding the challenges that brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your experiences, goals, and what you hope to get out of our work together. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share your expectations, and see if my approach feels like a good fit. Together, we’ll start building a foundation for your growth, identifying areas to focus on, and exploring practical strategies to help you begin making positive changes in your life.
I'm a thoughtful and empathetic therapist who values collaboration and understanding. I help clients explore challenges, gain perspective, and develop strategies to feel more empowered and balanced. My approach emphasizes trust, safety, and practical support tailored to each individual’s needs.
I work best with clients who are seeking a supportive and collaborative space to better understand themselves, explore their challenges, and create meaningful, lasting change. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about their next steps, and are looking for both clarity and practical tools to move forward. I’m particularly well-suited to support individuals navigating periods of stress, change, or personal growth who are open to reflection and ready to explore new ways of thinking and coping. I offer a collaborative and compassionate approach, helping clients make sense of their experiences while building skills they can use in their daily lives. Together, we focus on increasing self-awareness, strengthening resilience, and identifying steps that feel both manageable and meaningful.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In my practice, I work collaboratively with clients to identify unhelpful thinking patterns, challenge negative beliefs, and develop more balanced, realistic perspectives. Through practical tools and structured techniques, I support clients in building coping skills, improving emotional regulation, and making meaningful changes in their daily lives. My approach is goal-oriented, compassionate, and tailored to each individual’s unique experiences and needs.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) into my work to help clients navigate overwhelming emotions and respond to life’s challenges with greater clarity and control. My approach focuses on teaching concrete, easy-to-apply skills that support emotional balance, healthier relationships, and improved decision-making. I emphasize both self-acceptance and personal growth, creating a space where clients feel supported while also encouraged to make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives.
Humanistic
I draw from Humanistic therapy to create a warm, supportive space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and valued. My work centers on building an authentic, trusting relationship that allows clients to explore their experiences at their own pace. I believe in each person’s natural capacity for growth and self-understanding, and I focus on helping clients connect more deeply with themselves, strengthen their sense of identity, and move toward a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
