New to Grow
As a therapist, I strive to meet clients exactly where they are and create a space where they feel comfortable, supported, and understood. I believe in humanizing the therapy experience—building a genuine connection free of judgment, where we can celebrate your successes, find humor when appropriate, and work through life's challenges together with compassion, hope, and a focus on growth.
During our first session, my goal is simply to get to know you and create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, what has been weighing on you, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I'll answer any questions you may have about the therapy process and explain confidentiality so you know what to expect. There is no pressure to share everything at once. We will move at a pace that feels right for you, focusing on building trust and understanding your unique experiences. Think of our first session as the beginning of a partnership.
What sets my approach apart is my belief that therapy should feel human, not clinical. I strive to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without fear of judgment, pressure, or the need to have everything figured out. Therapy can be one of the few places where you can say the things you've been holding in, explore your thoughts openly, and feel genuinely heard and understood.
I enjoy working with young adults, professionals, parents, and caregivers who are navigating life's transitions and responsibilities. These stages of life often bring unique challenges, whether it's developing independence, building a career, raising children, caring for loved ones, or balancing multiple roles and expectations. I am passionate about supporting individuals who are motivated to gain greater clarity, strengthen their resilience, and align their actions with their values. My goal is to help clients create meaningful change so they can become the most fulfilled, confident, and authentic version of themselves.
I identify as
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
There are often challenges or adjustments that need to be made during all chapters of life. Through acceptance and commitment therapy, I like to identify the problems, explore what is in and out of the patients control, feel the emotions associated with it, link the emotions to past experiences if applicable, make a plan to how to positively address the situation, and then commit collaboratively with the client to address the issue together through rapport connection and trust.
