(she/her)
I am a Board Certified Psychiatric and mental health Nurse practitioner. I have worked in the field of mental health for several years, starting as a patient care coordinator of a mental health clinic. Later as a Psychiatric Registered nurse and proceeded to Vanderbilt University where I earned the MSN degree with a specialization in Psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner, some years back. My dedication to patient care during my clinical in Nursing school earned me the Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nursing Student in 2018. Currently, I work in a psychiatric hospital and an outpatient clinic. My past and current work experiences helped me to develop empathy and commitment to people with mental health challenges.
I conduct psychiatric evaluations for new patients and medication management. Any patient that presents for my services should expect to be listened to and not judged. Also, treated with dignity and have a voice in their treatment plan.
I believe in a holistic approach to mental health care through Medication, therapy, and lifestyle changes. Utilizing these approaches has been proven to positively transform the lives of those with mental health issues. I see patients from the age of 18 up to the geriatric population.
I am a good listener and culturally sensitive. I treat patients with Schizophrenia, Bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, etc. My schedule is flexible. If you need a day that is not listed on my calendar, please send me a message at reception+Esther18153@growtherapy.com
