About me

Hi! My name is Erin and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California providing therapy to teenagers and adults. I have personal and professional experience in managing and coping with anxiety, depression, ADHD and trauma. I often incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), positive psychology, attachment theory, and additional approaches individualized to you. I enjoy learning about clients' interests, hobbies, and strengths, and occasionally incorporating them into our sessions.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session we will get to know each other, discuss your concerns and identify goals for therapy. I will also review the forms you filled out prior to session and provide any relevant resources you are interested in receiving.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have worked with all age groups and spent 5 years working with children and families in foster care, reunification, and adoption. I have experience in helping children and adults heal from trauma and cope with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and additional mental health issues. I am open to feedback, adjusting aspects of my approach to fit your needs, and offer a variety of strategies and resources.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with people who want to learn more about themselves and their mental health, and are ready to make a change in their life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients enhance their self-awareness and use effective strategies for cultivating healthier thought patterns, behaviors, and coping mechanisms. Through CBT, clients have effectively navigated challenges associated with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues.

Positive Psychology

I integrate positive psychology techniques to aid clients in recognizing, building, and implementing their strengths and values in their daily life. This approach facilitates the cultivation of mindfulness-based thinking and habits, empowering individuals to flourish in life by fostering a sense of meaning, purpose, and happiness.

She was very helpful and validating on my experiences and emotions. She also helped me learn about boundaries.

I have strong perspectives on life, and she truly listened and cared about what matters to me. She shared from her own life, which made her relatable and trustworthy. She absorbed so much about my experiences and stayed engaged the whole time. I feel we’re a great match and I’m excited to see how she can help me navigate life, grow, and better support others too. I feel hopeful and supported knowing someone so understanding is in my corner. Thank you so much!
