New to Grow
Hi there, I’m Sarah! As an integrative psychologist, I enjoy incorporating movement, meditation, nature, and nutrition alongside traditional psychological modalities. I specialize in helping others regulate their nervous system in order to allow for awareness and change. I help clients shed unhealthy patterns and refocus on enhancing quality of life. In session, I’ll teach you sophisticated therapeutic skills in a user-friendly, down-to-earth way. I enjoy helping clients shift perspectives and break free from the thought loops and the endless cycles that can easily consume and trap us. Together, we'll work on healing old wounds, especially those from our early childhood I enjoy giving feedback and I love talking! It’s one of the reasons I was drawn to this field. Sitting down and sharing human connection is a passion of mine. Connection and a safe attachment to another is a primitive need that has long been forgotten. Check out my website drsarahwindfeldercom for more info, see you there!
During our initial session, I like to use this time for us to both get to know each other and to determine what we want to work on therapy. During the intake, we will go over your history and presenting concerns, I will determine if I am the right therapist for you, meaning an intake appointment does not guarantee services. If I feel that your needs are beyond the scope of my expertise, I will refer out and point you in the right direction!
I provde a safe and secure attachment so that you can practice being able to trust yourself in session and practice trusting the world outside of session. Together we'll reframe thoughts and restructure old beleif systems through the lense of attachment and old wounds with the help of nervous system reglation techniques to better help us calm the racing thoughts and regulate the body.
I specialize in treating women. In particular, those of us over thinking, hardworking, perfectionistic women with anxiety, racing thoughts, self-doubt, and imposter syndrome. Are you a high functioning worrier? Perfectionistic? Quick to react? Stuck in the same negative thought loop? Do you have to feel stressed to feel productive? To feel enough or worthy? We'll unpack the worry and find ways we can give it less weight and replace anxious thoughts with more realistic ways of thinking. Are you a high functioning worrier? Perfectionistic? Quick to react?
