New to Grow
I am an artist and art therapist based in Philadelphia, PA. I have worked within the community mental health field for more than a decade, providing group and individual counseling and art therapy. As a therapist, I lead with kindness, compassion, and humor. I believe that connection is the foundation of healing. I feel passionately about the importance of community care and the deep, transformative potential of creative expression. I’ve personally experienced how art can be a tool for processing trauma and making sense of life’s challenges. I believe every person has a unique and valuable perspective to share, and that your voice matters.
In our first session, I would like for us to begin to get to know one another. I will share a bit about myself and what therapy with me can look like. I will ask you about what has brought you here and what your priorities are for our work together. Together, we will develop a plan to achieve your goals.
I have faced my own struggles with depression and trauma over the years, and I have worked hard to understand and learn from them. As an artist, I also bring a more creative and at times playful approach.
If you're ready to take the first step toward healing, I invite you to connect with me. Together, we will explore new ways to embrace your creativity, build resilience, and foster lasting change.
I am certified in CBT and use this approach to support with exploring and understanding the effect of the way we think on the way we feel and act.
I have completed training to be a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist and have a deep understanding of the ways in which trauma can impact the body, emotions, relationships, and sense of self. I focus on building self-compassion and resilience as you move towards recovery.
I am a Board-Certified Art therapist and find that the use of creative expression can be deeply healing and meaningful.
I lead from a place of unconditional positive regard, and believe that we all deserve kindness and compassion.
